- The Armadillo Dragon is the only rare hybrid that doesn't have wings. In fact, the Armadillo dragon is the only rare hybrid that does not have any dragon-like characteristics.
- The plural of Armadillo is Armadilli.
- The Armadillo Dragon is the only rare hybrid that has Artificial Horn or Metal Horn.
- "Armadillo" comes from a Spanish word meaning "little armed one".
