Summary[]

Overview[]

No boost

Dungeon Habitat "Off Shore"

The Dungeon Habitat is a reward for completing Part II of The Dungeon quest event. Once you get the habitat, it can host the same dragons as a dark habitat do, but with the capacity of the old level 2 Sea habitat instead (which is 3 Dragons). It is located between the Lava island and Ivory island. The main bug we'll discuss in this page is the player can dock it on an island, but it can not be returned to it's off-shore position.

Bug Mechanics[]

Forum update 2

Apparently, the game was designed so nothing can move off the islands. As a result, once it's on the island, it's stuck.

According to Jerry999 (an Admin at the Social Point Forums), this may be caused by a choice in the original game design. He suggests that objects (such as Habitats) were never meant to be able to move off the islands, and by oversight, the Dungeon Habitat could be moved.

Dungeon Habitat (2)

the "Docked" Dungeon Habitat

Please click here to see the video demonstrating about the bug itself. We've did this island-docking thing on purpose, so you (as the reader) don't have to. We've also found a thread with related topic at the Social Point forum. According to the thread, the Developers can fix this bug if the player contacts it. Sadly, we can't guarantee if this information was relevant. If you're interested, please click here to read it. At that time, one of our retired admins have a pending support ticket, and no response yet. He have also created a thread of his own, which can be viewed here.

Just in case you haven't clicked on those 2 thread links, sadly, both of the threads above does not exist anymore. Its probably due to the age of this content was made (2013). Feel old yet?

Pending Bug Fix[]

Forum update

Back in 14th June 2013, an Admin at the Social Point forum assures our retired admin that this bug is currently being addressed. Apparently, this bug fix will prevent this from happening to anyone else. However, players who have already 'tasted' this issue will still need to submit a support tickets to fix this.

Later that night, another admin from Social Point forum (who he had spoken with) replied and added that it may take 10 to 14 days. He also says that he heard of similar bugs were being corrected, but nothing we could confirm. It is likely that individual tickets are being ignored in the light that a blanket fix is impending.

Tomorrow, my ticket will be 14 days old. Still no response.

Bug fix

MAJOR UPDATE: My island has been manually returned by Social Point. They have asked me to let you all know that we can expect a full fix within the week.

Docked Habitat Attributes[]

It is not known if this is a bug or on purpose, but crystals do not appear to affect dragons in the Dungeon Habitat when it is off shore. On the other hand, a docked Dungeon Habitat can benifit from crystals, but has lower caps compared to a normal big dark habitat.

Besides possibly as decoration, there is no benifit to docking the Dungeon Habitat. When it comes to the in-game mechanics, placing it on the mid-air (outside the other islands available) is the only advantage it has, and this is lost when docking.

While the Dungeon Habitat occupies the same space as a normal big habitat, it hovers above the ground and obstructs anything behind it from being clicked on.  For this reason, it is advised it be as far back on the island as possible.

Bug History[]

This bug was first brought to the attention of the wiki back in 31th May 2013 by Vrtnarka. It was initially dismissed as hacking, but was recognized for what it was, as more users began to report it.
