    On the dragon pages I saw : "Where working on the new code...." . It's WRONG ! It Should Be "We're" or "We are". Sorry if this bothers you.

      Np, we known. I add the verry quickly. Prajay was planning to fixed it. I gave him the links where they where located. But in fact we need to change it since we can't figure out the formule so in the future we need to make an manual system.

      Don't worry, it's still an work in progress. I already post an lot of reasons why it's better to change the infobox in the future. I think I made an forum post and an blog about this. The main reason is that the current infobox covers that many space that it already contains the full page with I currently was able to convert this to 10 times smaller without removing any of his content so we can add more content to it. The second main reason is that the new infobox can be used for other item and also will will load 10 to 20 times faster than the current ones. I think the mobile skin even 25 times.

      I will post an poll with an example page when it's finished. But I don't think I will be able to finish it this month so don't worry, the currently infobox will stay for now.

    Now it is *nearly* impossible to vandalize pages. I found out that in many wikis, their pages and blogs have no edit button. So I guess there is a code for that?

    Also we need to semi-secure all the pages. Users agree with us according to a poll. 

    Since the content is automated, The main thing is the forum I believe. Disable that and the site traffice graph will become a freakshow. The Club Penguin wiki is successful because club penguin is played by many people, but most of them being english, unlike dragon city and secondly they are successfull because their wiki has a clutter-free fourm , an active chat and editable pages. Also they have monthly contests of logo design and also a chatmod and rank selection. We need a main blogger too.

      Semi secure all dragon pages could maybe be an good start but vandals remain to exist.

      The removal of the edite buttom is maybe an bit to extreem. I'm not sure this is against the rules or not.

      If the vandals become to extreem I will hide the edite buttom for ip users.

    Where is the code for "Where  working on new code" in the damage template and in the dragon content template ?

    It should be either We're or We are. Where has a diffrent meaning and usage.

      it's simple, you just have to add the category prefix before it. But what categories do you want to create since I want to try to make them more and automated so we can easy controle and remain them in the future.

      Currently almost all our dragon categories are automated and get calculated by our current infobox Template:Infobox/Dragon

      If you update the pages with the new infobox, the categories are automaticly add but are marked as your edit. So editing making an dragon page up-to-date can easy give you 30 or more category points if you are so intressting in badges.

      {{Dragon Content}} is the final version of the dragon template. I designed this one because it can hold templates that are now fully automated. This is also the content that the new infobox will contain. Later on this template will be the input for the automated calculations but can still be override in the future with an override code (just an idea for now).

      This only limitation to this template is that I didn't include the image parameter to it so you will have to rename the main image first before you can add this template to an article.

    I known an lot of users like the current version of the infobox. Still I'm planning to change it again for the following reasons:


    The infobox covers an lot of space for the content that it need to display. An smaller displayspace would also reduce the pages in visual size what would make it more easy to navigate and gives more room for other information. The main factor why the current version of the infobox is that large is because of the dragon images. Somehow I want to move this to an gallery rather than display it on first seight. The main reason for this is that mugshot are may more easy to acces and won't reveal directly the big picture of the content itself. It would also stimulate the loading time. Loading time is imported on an wikia so that's why this is the best solution. I'm sure this modification will be possitive for the user when it's finished.

    Is it possible to place a tabber, which will let us see the translation of the whole page in other languages, since the other wikis are very behind in terms of data. Also, I think having so many boards is USELESS, so why not make it just 3 (Off-topic, Q&A and Report corner )

      Might be possible with an translation extension but that still won't give an perfect result.

      Currently our staff is to small and not organist enouge to translate everything. Don't forget every small modification to an page or article will need to be translate after. That's why I suggest to translate only the dragonnames for now. In the future we maybe could support more translations starting will small words or maybe the breeding page. We still are an english wikia and so the translation that happen or only intended to support the navigation.

      Not really if they are moved to the trivia section like I did already on some pages it we be fine. Also the current translated information are quotes and names. Like I said names is already an planned option and quotes are in most languages the same. So not really an big deal.

      I already explaned to User:Kentcyrilb21 how to make those pages. It's not that hard it's in fact create pages with an name and the name content. For example:

      Than we simply int mark the words, we can implement this in templates:

      If you now change your userlanguage to spanish that text will be changed to "Terra Dragon/es" content.

    I took a photo but There is some problem with wiki, so I can't upload it due to my extremely slow connection, which will be fixed next month.
