If anyone here is concerning about enough time or gem to spend into this quest, keep breeding and farming as it would accumulated to help you in later stage.
There is a bug in shogun where you can exploit, maybe just for now. When you reach shogun, go log on to fb(pc), try speed up the fight with gem and the button says "0 gem to fight"– Yes, it cost no gem at all. You can basically finish the shogun in less than half an hour if you follow the combat guide, suddenly the 14 days quest is over.
Updated full fightmap (Please check medal count before fight)-
Same goes with the "Soke" challenge, just reached the part and now all the fights are done. I thought they will let us fight continuosly since I'm waiting for the breeding component but unfortunately the max fight is the number of fights needed for each stage.
The only hard part is the Oni, you have to collect for 4 days. Soke took about one day, Shogun took half an hour if the bug remains. Plus the one day plus to get the habitat. All together it took less than 7 days, without spending gem.
Have tried to post this on all the Japanese wikis but there are more dragons than on the list. So far 313 is Chimera, #14 is Juggernaut and #15 is Burning - have to go but will give you the others later.
Pure Terra would be fine, Terra on the other hand gets critically destroyed with the metal attack. I use Platinum myself, but my son doesn't have a Platinum at a level high enough to kick Jade to the curb.
I didn't pick these, CBR did. And anyone may edit the choices as long as they are a dragon a newbie can get and is likely to have. I see you did just that, Addictofdragons, Icecube is a good choice.
I completed the event and got all my dragons! I used Aztec Emporer to defeat the Shogun Dragon. It was not difficult, but the Shogun is a great dragon to watch in combat! I can't wait until mine hatches!
Tinhinane is correct. As a rule, I will always suggest the minimum Dragon for use in combat, in consideration of Players who are at a low level and don't understand how to pick Dragons for Battles, yet.
Generally my recommendations of Elemental Dragons are with the expectation that you will use one of between Lv4 and Lv7, inclusive, to avoid the situation where your Opponent will have access to a Secondary Attack.
My recommendations of Hybrids are with the expectation that they will have access to Secondary Element Attacks, which will mean they need to be at higher levels.
Do you guys wish an inclusion of suggested Lv, as well? xD
@Unter: I think it has something to do with Japanese tradition. Or something historical. And likely not at all, as far as the game is concerned. If you look around you find all sorts of funny stuff in the descriptions of the Dragons, so I don't normally pay attention to it. xD
